Senior Art Director/Lead Designer

Who you are and what you do?
You are a strategic, results oriented creative Senior Art Director/Lead Designer with video editing experience.
Develop concepts and designs that reflect the agreed upon strategy that are appropriate for the client’s brand personality and tone across multiple channels, such as: social media, digital, email marketing, print, retail, broadcast, packaging, collateral and more.
Provide outstanding design and conceptual skills, including typography, color, visuals, composition, motion, hierarchy and/or interface design.
Stay on top of current and evolving trends in digital, web development, video editing and social media.
Provide hands on support and direction to photographers and stylists on photo and video shoots.
Assist with video post-production including color grading/correction, music selection, graphic animation and video editing.
A pro at juggling projects and deadlines; able to re-prioritize/change directions when required.
Demonstrate excellent written and verbal skills; able to present work articulately.
Maintain consistently high standards that will enhance the agency-client relationship.
Help drive overall creative direction and visual expression of the brand for key clients.

Qualifications:

Exceptional knowledge of the core programs including Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects and Premiere.
Strong experience in video editing with Adobe Premiere and After Effects.
Must have a strong understanding of photography process, and the ability to lead your project from pre-production and shooting through post-production phases.

Graphic Design Intern

Donovan is currently looking for a Graphic Design Intern to fulfill a paid temporary position for the semester. The candidate will work with and assist the creative team. This internship provides the opportunity to get a wide range of experience in the advertising field by working with B2B and B2C businesses of all sizes.
Individuals applying for this position should be detail oriented with the ability to complete tasks independently and on time while using the Adobe Creative Suite.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following activities:
- Utilizing industry standard software for print & web/digital media
- Concepting and creative development
- Participating in creative input sessions
- Following workflow and proofing procedures
